The touch sensor is capable of sensing through non-metallic material of up to 3mm thick.
The front size dimensions are 22x22mm.
It is meant to be mounted behind blind plates. It auto-calibrates to the thickness of the material where it is mounted against.
The front side has an adhesive layer so that it can be stuck against the back of a blind plate.
The connector is an easy to use, push in connector, which can handle solid core wires.
The device is a low voltage device which directly connects to the input of the Bikkel device.
The Bikkels powers and reads out the sensor via the two wires. The sensor does not have polarity.
